A bit like Tai Chi
The sea moves rhythmically
Ebbing and flowing

Grandad
Grandad on my mother’s side,
Was a Yorkshire miner,
Before he went to war.
He was as tough as old boots,
As small men often are –
And sly as an old fox,
Who knows how to impress,
The opposite sex:
Sithee young ’un,
If tha wants to catch ‘er eye,
Mek up stories about tha self,
And don’t e be put off,
If she don’t believe e,
Look er in’t eye,
n ge er a good wink!
